Oneighty, the CKC Youth Group

The youth group at Corvallis Korean Church calls themselves "oneighty." Why do we call ourselves oneighty? Our desire is to see lives so radically changed by Christ that our actions, thoughts, words make a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn around. God desires total transformation of our lives.

Our them verse is Romans 12:2, which reads,

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

The desire of this youth group is to see the total and complete transformation of our lives into the person God has called us to be.

We have three goals:

1. To worship and bring glory to God.
2. Grow in our relationship with God as we seek to be transformed into the person He has called us to be.
3. Share the love of Christ with others.

The youth ministry exists to reach out to English speaking Korean students in the Corvallis area. We exist to share the love of Christ with those who have never entered into a personal relationship with Him. We exist to encourage the spiritual growth of students and disciple them as they are molded into the kind of person God has called them to be. We exist also to help students live out there faith as they too share the good news of Christ. Finally, we exist to create an atmosphere of encouragement, accountability, and worship as we are strive to serve God.
